River Foss Society General Risk Statement
The River Foss Society is a volunteer group rather than a professional body but nevertheless strives to make our events as safe as reasonably possible primarily using the common sense and personal responsibilities of it’s members and the visiting public. We take safety seriously adhering to insurance policy requirements and review these every year on renewal. We have considered risks and benefits associated with our events and where possible defer to the experience and risk assessments of any professionals working with us.’
