Balsam Bashing

Another season is underway – come and join us in a bit of enviro-therapy!

If you’ve never tried, it it’s not hard work and looking back you can soon see what you’ve achieved. Come suited with long sleeves, though. Balsam loves to hide behind nettles.

Himalayan balsam might look pretty with its pink flowers and tall, leafy stems, but don’t be fooled – this invasive plant is a real problem for our natural landscapes. If you want to know more, have a look at this Wildlife Trust page https://www.lancswt.org.uk/complete-guide-to-himalayan-balsam
