The Water Walk: How has water shaped York over the years?

14 July @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

The Water Walk shows how water in myriad forms – ice, lakes, rivers, oceans – has shaped the city over thousands of years. We’ll find out how to bridge a river with a river, meet the teetotaller who learnt that beer could be better than water, and play the ever-popular waterside quiz, Ouse Who?

An informative, interesting and humorous morning is promised.

Meet in Museum Gardens, on the steps of The Yorkshire Museum finishing by Merchant Adventurers Hall

Led by Simon Rogerson.

Cost £7 per person – pay on line if you can – HSBC business account no. 51349538, sort code 40-47-31
